Lana Del Rey
H&M has confirmed that Lana Del Rey is the new face and voice of their fall 2012 campaign. They just released two photos of the singer and she will also be making a commercial with the song Blue Velvet that will have clips of the music video in the commercial. The song will debut September 19th! She will also be featured in new ad photos for their winter clothing which will come out later this year!

A Must Have
OPI rapid dry spray is a must have if you are an on the go girl who loves to paint their nails! We got this in our kit at beauty school and I can't go without now! You just spray this on your freshly painted nails and it drys so fast! How fast? Just a few seconds! No more sitting around trying hard to not touch anything trying to avoid messed up nails! I highly recommend this product. It is odor free and doesn't discolor your nail polish. It's great!

This product really seemed too good to be true. A device that can clear away pimples and acne within 24 hours. Can it work though?
I don't have bad acne but, around that time of the month a few pimples pop up. Some go away and some stay for longer than welcome. I thought this product would be great for that.
This device you can only use 80 times. It uses heat to clear away any bacteria. You hold this to your skin for 2 1/2 minutes, it goes off by itself. You can find it at Walmart or Target for around $37.
I used it on a pimple that just popped up thinking that it would be easier to treat. It didn't hurt and the heat was mild and doesn't burn the skin. The device beeps every 30 seconds to let you know how long it's been on your skin.
So what is the verdict? This product sucks. It made my pimple even worse. It kind of brought out the worst of it. I think after 24 hours it got even bigger. It's like the heat within that 2 1/2 minutes made it inflamed. It was red and noticeable and not at all gone. Maybe if you use this after your pimple had been there for a while maybe it speeds up the process but then what's the point. Once you notice a pimple you want it gone. This product didn't at all work for me.
I read some other reviews, some were good and some said the exact thing i said. Maybe it just works on certain types of skin. Who knows. I just know that it is very expensive for only 80 uses and it didn't even work for me. Thumbs down!

My vow.
I am like most people and tend to stick with the normal blacks, whites, and gray colors during the fall and winter months. But that might be my beauty school coming out, as that was the only colors we were aloud to wear. But I am really try to expand the color palet in my wardrobe and a color I don't see very often is emerald. I love the color and I would love to see more of it this fall. I am now making a vow to get the color into my closet for the upcoming months!

Rose water! One of my favorite things! It can be used in so many different ways! Cleopatra, used rose water in various face masks. It also prevents aging by reducing wrinkles and tightening skin pores. It can be used as a moisturizer too! Rose water cleanses the skin, removing dirt, oil and other pollutants from deep inside the skin pores. It can be used as a cleansing agent as well as a skin toner.
There are many ways to make rose water including putting many rose petals in a bowl and pouring distilled water over them and leaving them out in the sun. Another way is to put rose petals in a bowl and pour boiling water over them and cover the with a lid until room temperature then bottling it.
Rose water can be used in so many ways! As a cleanser or even for your hair! It can be a great conditioner preventing split ends. It can also help your tired eyes. Dabbing some rose water on a cloth and dabbing it on your eye lids can help sooth and cool your eyes.
This is a wonderful way to make use of the roses you get as a gift and it just keeps on giving! I love this! Try it and tell me what you think!

Microdermabrasion is the process of sucking or scrubing all the dead skin cells and dirt off the top layer of your skin. This process can be very pricey for each visit to a dermatolgist. But an option I love is the at home kit Nu Brillaince.
Nu Brilliance is an at home treatment kit that sells at Sephora for $250. It has very good reviews and I myself use it and recommend it. It leaves skin feeling smooth and clean. It has different levels varying to your own skin sensitivity and comes with a instructional DVD which I highly recommend watching. I personally love this product!

Miu Miu's Fall Shoes!
